Rockwall's Hometown Christmas

The magic of the holidays comes alive in Rockwall as the City invites residents and visitors to celebrate Hometown Christmas on Saturday, December 6, 2025. This beloved tradition offers a full day of festive fun, beginning with the Annual Kiwanis Christmas Parade at 9:00 AM. Watch over 100 dazzling floats travel the 1.5-mile route from the Rockwall County Library to Historic Downtown Rockwall, rain or shine! After the parade, the celebration continues in Historic Downtown Rockwall with the Hometown Christmas Festival from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Stroll through the holiday market for artisan treats and unique gifts, capture magical photos with Santa and the Grinch in San Jacinto Plaza, and let the kids enjoy bounce houses, games, crafts, train rides, and a snowy play area. The festivities conclude at City Hall with the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Enjoy Christmas crafts, warm cocoa, and cookies provided by the Rockwall Women’s League, and a visit from Santa as the city’s Christmas tree comes to life.
