BLESSING of the ANIMALS!
Blessing of the Animals! In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, lover of all animals, St. Matthias Church is delighted to invite the entire community to a traditional Blessing of the Animals, at Harry Myers Dog Park (parking lot), October 5, 10:00am - Noon. All beloved family members with paws, feathers, fins, hooves, and scales - and their humans! - are encouraged to gather, in the spirit of St. Francis, to give thanks to God for the goodness of Creation and to receive a special blessing.
